    dpull, IH 495's had no weight transfer system, just a standard universal hitch (like a Cat DW20). Very basic machine. All the gear you see above the bowl is to do with getting the bowl & apron up. They're quite fun to operate though, the IH DT817 motor has a lot of grunt and they have an Allison powershift transmission. Only drawback is you need several football fields to turn around

    The 992 sure looks good. We got a new one in late 68 or early 69 it rumored to be the first 992 west of Mississippi. it took some getting use to, before the 992 we had 988's some with dozer blades for clean up around the shovels, and they didn't have cabs.
