Yes garrie we had a lot of gear there we all camped on site BBq and a few drinks
Whow the hell did you transport all that machinery to the show, it cost me 200 to transport my Fiat 70 CI tractor/dozer 28 klm/s, and that was floated on Kolan Transport out of Gi-Gin. Garrie.
By the way, that Deere is the Bess Nuts, you must be proud of that bit of gear.

Ian Garrie from Gin-Gin here, do you have any ideas as to where to look for a problem im having with my Fergy tea 20 hydraulic system. was slashing fine and then the slasher would not go down when i moved the control handle, it has since gone down but does nor respond wnen up or down is used on the control handle, Oils at correct level and apart from finding the four bolts that hold the control handle onto the side of the diff being somewhat losse after tightening nothing happens. the p.t.o. rotates the slasher blade but no hydro lift. any ideas? Thanks Garrie.
Hi Garrie, Maybe with the bolts being loose , something in the internal linkage may have slipped out of possition . I dare say John would know about the internal workings of it .
Hi Garrie The bullyard rally held at bullyard sports ground half way between Gin Gin and South Kolan our club name is Kolan River Historic Vhivle And Tractor Club INC
Hi Garrie here from gin-gin. I am presently in the process of doing the head on my Fiat 70ci crawler tractor. Head off and in Bundy getting shaved and valves etc done. Getting reco Ijectors at $165 a pop,vrs kit $225, thermostat$230,1 ew head bolt$46 and new fuel and oil filters, cant wait to hear the old girl running again, ill let you know how the job comes off if you are interested. Garrie.
Always interested Mate . How did you go with the fergy ,get it sorted ? . Have a good look at the head studs on your fiat . As they are in the water jacket, they do suffer from rusting away if ,inhibitor has not been used .
Hi Garrie it will be good when you get it back together Fiat s have a problem with head studs. our club is KRHVehicle&TC .I mis spelt Vehicle last post We are fixing a eary BTD6 at the moment it has TD6 parts in backend?
That main P.T.O. cog looks like it could do with a bit of welding build up and machining, what would have caused all that pittig on the teeth ? moisture in the oil and worn bearing parts floating around?
Hi Garrie all the housing is smashed the top three bearings were not geting oil. The BTD6 had been repaired before it looks like the oil feeder trough was mising all the time i have all the parts now you can see the oil trough on the inner housing
so be it
Looks like you have a major job on your hands mate, better you than me.Hope everything comes together with that for you. Im in Brisvegas at present doing Gas regs in the city at night time only time they can be done then going back up to Moranbah for for commissioning on the L.P.G. set up I installed last week then off to Roma folling week, looks like the Fiat will be on the back burner for another couple of weeks, thats life, regards Garrie Gin-Gin.
The diesel mechanic who pulled the head for me says that was the only one he says was sus, I didnt think it looked serious though what would I know, ill go with his call of replacing that one, thanks for reply.garrie Gin-Gin.
Hi Garrie, It just depends how well it was looked after .Our one looked lke beavers had been chewing at the bottom , and they where ready to fall . One had rusted completely off .
Well something must be going my way with this project, there reallly good. not so the head engineering mob in bundy says I need new ex &in valves, springs, stems and guides, rang G.W. Tractors and at least they have these parts in stock about 900 dollars later, or well its only money and im glad its only 4 cylinder.
Hi Guys, recently purchased myself a Fiat 60CI - in the process of carrying out some necessary repairs. Does anyone have a 60CI or know of others in operating order? I would be interested in an old machine for spares if anyone knows of spares/wrecks
70ci I'll second that. The 70ci I had needed the threads in the water jacket helicoiled so the head studs had something to screw into. Had to use a magnetic drill and a long tap but it was good when finished. The big four cylinder engine in the 70ci is a low reving torquey beast and will run forever if properly maintained. However the steering clutches and final drives are a weak point if the machine has done some heavy pushing. Put a small magnet on a stick and poke it into the bottom of the final drive housing and see what comes up stuck to the magnet apart from oil. An early repair is a lot cheaper than a complete failure. When I got my 70ci years ago the bull gear bearing had seized on the dead axle and wrecked it. Getting the dead axle out was an experience not to be repeated! AusDave
Thanks for the advice AusDave, ill attend to that after the Head- Job, got to get your priorities right.Garrie.
Hi Fiat60ci there 2 places around Kingaroy have parts for fiats Ianoz my help with ph numbers john

Fingers Crossed all goes well , . So , how many Acres have you got to play on ?
John , Garrie from Gi-Gin here, that machine looks sweet, straight blade rops and rippers look same, what year?74-79, a few turns on the track adjustment nut and youre away.
25, just north of Tirroan PUB
Little bit more room to play than we have .We have 15 acres . The 60 has a couple of problems , Tracks are pretty well worn out ,and it runs for a little while then stops . Have not gotten round to checking out the fuel lines for any problems yet .
Hi guys the BTD6 is crawling around again WE are working on P6 fulltrack fordson at the moment forgot how to post pic
