Hello, I just joined although I've searched this forum many times for good info. I'm looking for input from anyone that has operated a new JD 245G or Hitachi ZX245-5. We're looking to buy 2 new excavators and have had really good luck with our Zx225's. We haven't demo'd a new one yet but was looking for input on ergonomics, operation, and any dislikes. Feels just like a 225d, runs quieter though,if you can believe that. Mech layout is pretty much the same as the 225d, pain in the butt to get at anything,but still well thought out.
