With that 6 way blade it says on Cats web site that you need some sort of counter weight. Either a ripper or a winch and we have no need for a ripper. But i don't know why it didn't have a cable. The federal government ordered it so they might be trying to save money:falldownlaugh

Just remember to wipe your feet before you get in there - the inside of those things looks like a Ferrari.

Appreciate all the comments. I'm ready to take her for a spin but our maint. dept has to do their initial inspection so there she sits. They locked the door and took away the key little do they know about whats on my key ring. I'll play by the rules though. Wingnut, the other dozer has had many years of young "operators" learning the ropes on it. Plus most of the time is spent pushing concrete and asphalt. The undercarriage is alright but the motor is kinda beat. It's a '90 model.

D5G, we haven't been able to operate it yet. Our maintainence dept. has to do thier initial inspection first. Talked to the guy today thats doing it and he says it should be ready to go tomorrow.:drinkup
