Hi All, There is a pinpoint leak in the parking brake tube on my CAT287C (S/N MAS00722). See 2583860: LINES GP-PARKING BRAKE -- 258-3861: Parking Brake Control Fluid Supply Tube. It is (1) on the diagram below. Now for some questions: 1) What are my chances of getting this out through the belly plate on the bottom and/or the hydraulic labyrinths on the sides? 2) What o-rings should I order for the connections between the hose assemblies and the tube, if any? Note these are not called out on the diagram. 3) Any other suggestions? What is the best method for removing gunk from the belly? Thanks everyone. Matt
From everything I can see the O-Rings at the tube end are the same 6V-8397 that are shown for the opposite end of the flexible hoses Refs #2 and #4. Getting the leaking Tube As out and the new one in is probably going to be a knuckle-buster
