Hi, Not much information there, Does the PC100 try and move when you use the swing? Can you hear if the swing motor is turning when you operate the lever? Could be mechanical, (broken swing gears or damaged swing bearing) or hydraulic, (faulty valve, swing motor, blown hose) What happened when it stopped working? The more info you can give the easier to diagnose. Baz

You will need to provide some more information on your machine. What Dash model is it? Early models of these machines were gray market in the United States with some having swing brakes and some not having swing brakes. If it has a swing brake there will be a toggle switch somewhere in the cab that will bypass a timer and release the brake all the time. It is pretty common that the fuse panel that supplies current to the solenoid get rusted out and lose connection. I've also seen many solenoids go bad. Should that part of the system work properly you may have a broken swing motor or the swing machinery under the motor may be broken. Good Luck!

I don't think there's anything wrong with your problem, sounds like a perfectly normal problem. Did your problem break down too along with your excavator, but you don't know what happened to your problem? Sorry, I couldn't help it ; I know it can be tricky trying to communicate in a foreign language. Do you hear any sounds when you try to swing? Can you describe the sounds if there are any? Do you hear the squeal of a relief valve? Do you hear the whir of the swing motor? Do you hear any hydraulic oil flowing when you try to swing? Did it just stop swinging all of a sudden or did it fail in some other way? Have you found any metal shards in the hydraulic tank or filter?

I had a CAT 315 do the same thing the other day and i just swapped the two speed travel solenoid with the swing brake solenoid and WAHLAH!! she worked like a champ except I didnt have two speed until I bought a new solenoid but it got the job finished most importantly

Seen a splined shaft in a swing motor stipped smooth.Operator was swinging and hitting trees to knock them down.

From looking at his other posts, the machine in questions is probably a PC100-6. I have no idea what "lae acu miu" means.

It could very well mean "Why don't you clowns all go pound salt." Which is why English is the official language of HEF. The mods can't tell what's being said in other languages. That doesn't mean though, that a guy has to be able to use English perfectly in order to be treated with respect. I removed a bunch of garbage from this thread. Any of you guys want to take a shot at posting a coherent thought in Indonesian, go ahead... :cool2

Just went through this with our 490D. First find out if hydraulic motor is working. Check if swing brake is releasing. If both of these are working correctly, then it is something in the swing gear box. Does the swing motor lug down when you move the stick and it does not move, or is it quiet and nothing moves. If this then something is broken in the gear box. Another way to check this is have someone on the ground push on the boom. This will show that a gear is stripped if it moves freely. It doesn't matter if the swing brake is on or not when you do this, because without a solid connection through the gear box the brake can't hold the house. What happened to our 490D was the internal teeth in the hole on the spider carrier that goes over the main shaft stripped out. So no teeth no swing or ability to hold with the swing brake. What was amazing the main shaft teeth were in perfect condition as was everything else in the gear box except for some very minor flaking on some spots of the outer gears that the small planetary gears ride on.

Part number 1 is what was damaged, the lower planet pinion carrier.
