So i am way behind on work as im sure all of us are if were on here . So my oil cooler cover has leaked since i got the machine 2 years ago and just added oil. Finally bought all my filters, oils, and took it all apart. Well im having trouble getting the part of the cover that the oil lines go into to seal. I made a homeade crows foot w a half in dr to turn the big nut part of it which i measured at 60mm. But u also need to tighten the lower 90 as well all while being able to re attach the hoses. Anyone been down this road? im so close The tool I made w my torch on the tailgate in the yard im a better fabricator that it shows, It needs to stick out further but trial and error it still helped alot So it ran for maybe 10 seconds before it was seeping out of the top seal of the bowl shaped housing, then i reved the engine and it blew the seal out entirely? Now heres the deal. the hose coming from the filter housing saying IN aligns only w the OUT and visa versa. Also the fittings also indicate to hook up in to out and out to in. one has a flat face and other is a bevel? unless i have the bowl clockled so badly? The only pics i didnt take is how that looked before i took it apart.
well apparently nobody has had tocwork on this part of there machine so i went to the dealer and met a guy who knows these machines inside and out. Basically theres a jam nut that i need to loosing and align everything amd then tighten down properly. Update of everything working and back to making money tomorrow hopefully
