PC400LC-7 Hydraulic issue

Serial# A86202 This unit has been struggling with an issue for a bit and its finally back at the shop to be able to look at. Tracking on either lever may or may not work and it alternates. Say you wanna track forward, both levers forward and the right track wont move. No resistance in the control lever. move another function like curl in and it takes off like normal. May work fine like that for a bit and then you stop and go again and it may be the left track. Vise versa. Operator also complains that the functions seem to be slow and the machine doesn't seem to be running at full throttle. He claims it all began when he walked the unit off of a curb and slammed down pretty hard and immediately noticed a deceleration and slower functions (does not sound likely to me). Dealer went out and checked over the unit a while back and claimed it needed travel control valves. Replaced. No change. When he was looking it over i noticed a few hoses coming off of the main pump pulsing. I pointed it out to him, claims he checked it and the pressures and it was fine and everything appeared to be normal. Ive never been a hydraulic genius but ive got a pretty good understanding on the ins and outs. To me either the servo valve is faulty or maybe one of the sensors but like i said my knowledge is limited and i just know there is someone on here that can tell me exactly where and what to look for. The manual is of little help as it gives some specs. but no troubleshooting. I didnt want to try adjusting the PC valves until i had a better understanding on the operation of this unit.

1st thing I would check is the inlets screens on the travel/manipulator valves. At each pilot pressure inlet hose, remove that banjo bolt and make sure each screen is clear before you do anything else

Finally got back around to this unit. So there is supposed to be a screen inside the banjo bolt there at the valve itself? I pulled the tank screens as well as the in-line screens there at the pump outlets. One screen had some contamination and was compromised. Looks like it was forced in once upon a time and the screen was pushed up a bit. Fair bit of contamination in the return to tank filter and suction screen. Ordered replacements for all of those.

There is no screens inside of mine. No sign of contamination.

Ended up pulling the pump and the control valve and sending out for evaluation and repair. Pump was worn and majority of the seals in the control valve were bad as well. Runs like a new unit now with no issues. The only sign of potential contamination found was on the outlet screens from the pump. One screen had been damaged on re-install. It was bent and was allowing contamination through the system.
