Hello All, Would anyone know the +/- tolerance for the main & con bearings for a Perkins 2300 series engine ?
Do you mean as in using plasti-gauge?
Hello - thank you for the reply. Yes, we have a unit which we need to overhaul. Id like to remove the crank tomorrow, how ever before we strip it completely Id like to check the main / con bearings to see if they are still with in spec. We'll also need the specs so we can check when it comes to reassembling this unit. Any information would be very much appreciated. Best Regards Patrick
