working on a Yanmar VIO 20. Planetary drive on the drive itself there is a top plate inch frm top is a lil slot where i pulled a wire out of which holds the top plate together instead of having a clamp ring. having issues fishin wire back through hole n around with out breaking . is there an easier way?
Yep. leave all the filler and drain bungs out then knock the wire into the groove between the end plate and the end of the final drive. Ensure the wire expands out into the locking groove and make sure both ends of the wire meet where the filler bung is.
