Can any one give me a idea what it will take to plumb for a thumb or twist attachment on this machine, with org or aftermarket parts. Material and cost.

hey, for both attachments you are talking tapping into the main c/v for one pump flow, bidirectional. a hyd thumb would use 3/4" hyd hose/tube where a tilt-ditching bucket would need 1/2" hyd hose/tube. likely your cost to do it right and be happy with it 5 - 6k. some have split the oil flow off the bucket circuit to run their attachment, this is a bit cheaper but not what i would recommend. i can give you pointers and advise what valves to buy if you like. if you chose oem valving 10k+ cheers!

Boy quite pricey, How about installing a deverter valve, I know you could only use this function when the valve is in gauged, but that may be all I need. ????

hi, the quickest least expensive way would be installing two 3-way dcv, cartridge valves, 24vdc, one on each side of the arm. 3/4 orb ported steel manifold. use SUN hydr valving. port 2 is common port - IN from existing bucket cyl hose from end of boom. the de-enegised open port would join back to your bucket cylinder. the other when energised would run your thumb or tilt-ditching bckt. it likely be $ 3k. cheers!

Hey mate Currently plumbing a tilt hitch onto a SK135-2 I have fitted plenty of tilts to JCB backhoes which run a gear pump The problem we have is that the pump isn't stroking up when just using the tilt function. It will work fine when stalling out another function, ie the pump is stroked up Where do I get pressure so the tilt will work by itself? Thanks Jock
