not so much an excavator question as an excavation question. i want to know your experience. do they work? how much frost and how fast? 20 amp circuit realistic? any comments at all please. the brand i see a lot is powerblanket.
We have used ground thaw heaters that are run by a portable boiler and use hoses placed in the area to be thawed. We also place blankets over the area. With this method we have thawed 24 inches over night. A twenty amp circuit in not alot of power for the type of heat needed for thawing.
i agree, but i am hearing good things about these electric blankets.
