hey guys, id like to start up a business soon and would like to know more about operations of everything if you can guys can possibly help me. i have tried researching online but honestly there is very little information regarding this field as it is not so popular or practical (mainly capital), but basically i am starting from scratch and trying to gather as much information as i can from multiple sources so i can. i hope this will be my greatest resource as ive learned a lot already from reading the threads. lets proceed shall we? btw, these is mainly for back hoes. Do i need any license for buying or shipping heavy equipment? Do i need to register the equipment even if i plan to sell it right away? Do i necessarily need a business license or only if i surpass a certain volume? Is there anything i need in regards to be able to ship these internationally? i was told i need a "EIN" could anyone recommend a 3rd party agency that will handle all of the shipping in regards to picking it up from the buyer and dropping it off at the port. anything i missed or need to know that i havent mention. i am new to all this business and industry so feel free to be descriptive or even put into layman's term if you have to. thank you again all very much for your time and reading, and i hope to gain much knowledge from this community. -Patch
ok so i researched and found some information. i dont need any license to buy or ship the equipment i dont need to register the equipment under the state of california i will need my business license regardless i dont need an EIN to ship
What about California emissions standards? How much do you have to comply with that.
