Pulling injection pump timing marks are lined up am I good to go ? Or is there lining the mark up with tdc intake stroke as opposed to tdc exhaust stroke or does that even factor in to pump and the timing marks being aligned for removal ? Thanks anyone
Lines lined up.. that’s it.. I think there’s a flywheel access hole by the starter.. have a look at what degree marks are lined up..8* or 0*.?? But lining up the lines is all ya need to take off..
The B should be 8*, the 580Cs early were 8* and Case sent kits to mod the pumps to 0* it was an easier start deal.
