Is it possible to get a replacement serial number tag for a machine? Have a 2020 Doosan excavator and the riveted on tag right below the cab is beat up and cant read it. Figured there must be a way to get one? Thanks!
Do you have all the necessary information from the original tag?
Kind of a difficult thing to do. I've looked a several machines over the years where stolen machines had altered numbers. Factory tag is going to need some kind of dealer confirmation that the machine in question will match the serial number being replaced. Probably the best thing to do is get a set of letter and number stamps and stamp the serial number that you know the machine by into the frame somewhere close to the damaged tag.
