Lets say i wanted to change a 24.5 rim and tire to a 22.5... What would the height difference be? I am thinking of buying a roll back but i am worried about the height of the equipment i am hauling. I need to shed about 6" to be at 13'-6" loaded height and the equipment cant be lowered.

The tire height difference is about 2". So the truck will only be lowered 1". You might want to look at trailers.

you can also run LP tires and gain another 2-3 inches
