I have a late 1990's ford 555e backhoe i have no reverse the machine has sat for 6 months worked fine when i parked it. It has reverse

    Check the electric contacts on the shuttle.... I think that's right.... If the shuttle is electric take some lime away and clean the contacts.... Or that's where I would start.
