i picked up a used MQ mobile air compressor its a diesel motor with rotary compressor. what type of oil do you use in it? i was told not to use 30w non detergent.
Not sure about the MQs, but most of the Ingersolls ive worked on used Dexron trans fluid. Just saying.
Yep, I am fixing up an old I-R 175 and the book says Dextron. You can use the REAL expensive synthetic stuff, But I think that is for stationary units that run 24/7 I would check it out with a MQ dealer to be sure.
