hi my name is ed. i have a question. Im running a Bombardier BR 400 Sno Cat . the same you would see grooming the ski hills and trails. my problem is that we got a flat (No Spares) and the tire shredded off the rim. i am right now at an isolated fishing camp for the winter season and cannot get help til spring. My question is: If i remove the rim (bogey) can i still operate the machine ok it will not be on slopes or any grades and only gradual turning at slow speed. it is my only vehicle here and the nearest humans are about 100 miles away.please i need to know, am email to the manufacturer has no tbeen answered. thanks Ed:notworthym i can also be reached by email at [email protected]
so what are your choices, have a new tire flown in, or run the thing 100 miles uninhabited to get the tire? It would be a bitch to break down 50 miles from nowhere in the middle of the winter...
Welcome to the Forums edvardas!:drinkup I don't have any experience with the machine in question, the only time I have even been around one is on the slopes in Colorado. Maybe a member on the board can point you in the right direction. Good luck!
You really dont have too many options do you. I would remove it and see how it goes. If the wheel is at the end, swap it out for one in the middle.
