I just bought a used bobcat S185, anyone know where the drain plug for the chain case is? Looked in the book, located a plug where it says the chain case drain is but it drains the gas.
Don't know about the 185 but our 953 had no drain. I bought a cheap drill pump and sucked it out when I used to change oil. Blocking up the tail helps get the oil to the front.
There is a rectangle shaped cover under machine, near back, 3 bolts. behind the cover are drain plugs for chaincase and fuel tank. metal plug in rubber grommett.
