I have an 08 S300 which, when off and sitting, the hyd. Cylinders settle. Took bucket off and the curl cylinders settled out overnight. Oil is up to level and not a drop evident on or under machine. Any ideas will help?
Bucket cylinders probably need to be re-sealed, or the piston bolt has come loose. Do a cylinder leakage test. Curl the bucket cylinders all the way in. Take off the barrel end hose, at the cylinder and cap the hose. Now start the machine and curl the bucket cylinders in. If the cylinder is bad, oil will leak out from the barrel end fitting. Repeat for the other cylinder, and rebuild the cylinders as needed.
you can do this, if i recall, bobcat cyl drift spec is approx 1 3/8" in 10 minutes with no load. i'd get 2 seal kits, reseal both cylinders. bobcat has increased the piston nut torque upwards of 1000ft/lbs. i also loctite the nuts in addition to the preapplied thread locker :drinkup
