I was on I35 headed to KC and saw a truck . It looked to be made of flat sheets of steel . It was the color of rusty steel. It was pulling a box Trailer. Has anyone seen it before?

I'll bet it does. Reminds me of a farmer who used to come in to a shop I worked in the 90s. Ol John Grey. Had an ancient Navistar Fleetstar with a hot Cummins Super 290 with a 24/12 electrical system. He was pulling steel from Gary down to Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri in the off season. That thing would crack so fast and hard when you stepped on the throttle. Very little smoke, just tons of power. Ol man had ghost switches so he could kill every light on the truck and smoke right past the scales in the middle of the night. Truck looked like tetanus on wheels. Everything worked, everything was right and tight.

Actually---to make the industry the way most want it, it would require going back to paper logs, and legally run 16 hours each day with only 6 hours sleeper birth. Every dispatch handing out pills. Deregulate some more, all diesel pickups should be allowed a total of 60,000 lbs GVW. Let them have at it------.

Where I used to work in the stockyards. We had an old Mack fire truck with an inline gasser. It was like 40s or 50s. Leaned back split grille with side wing hood. Someone was storing it there. Don't know what happened to it, but it was immaculate.

I have personally seen about 4 or 5 of those monstrosities in the last month. One was black. The others were plain stainless. At least the DeLoreans were smooth. These things had rough looking finish.

Saw a video of a farmer using a cybertruck as a work ute. Was welding direct from 3phase outlet in back. Didnt know they could do that. With out knowing much about American voltage, i think it was lower then au 3phase (415) volt? I would consider one if it looked a bit more conventional and had a 1000km range.
