SK160LC Kobelco aux. oil flow rate

I am thinking about attaching either a chain flail brush cutter or a rotary type mulcher on my excavator. Does anyone know what the hydraulic flow rate is for a 02 sk160lc dynamic acera? Also have any of you guys had experiance with the differnt type attachments? I am not going to use it to land clear as much as i am cutting back regrowth in wetlands, pond shorelines, quail plantation understory ,etc.

It should be about a 100 gpm however their must be a third bank installed which i assume their is? The pump runs in tandem and the flow is split and runs married together. I have seen a saw installed on the end for aux and you can run a bypass to the system and supply a portion of the pump energy to the unit. This will get it up to speed and allow you to get your cut on. What is the desired flow rate of the attachment you are going to apply to the machine?

A SK160 only puts out about 75 GPM or 37.9 GPM from each section the aux flow will only be about half of that. If you try and rob any more than that from the system you will not be able to anything else as none of the other functions will have enough flow.

2nd dirthog's reply. Look up HKX Inc They specialize in hydraulic kits for excavators. Start with them, you won't need to go any further.
