Im looking for some skip loader pics and some of the work that can be done with these machines, like slope boards they have not made it to the east yet so hopefully we can so these east coast boys what they are all about in the second pic there are spreading AC (asphalt, pavement, etc)
Different machine Makes me different meanings. In the UK a skip loader is a truck for moving / carrying skips / bins.
Okay Ive had these pictures on another thread, but In michigan, we have DoMors which you might consider a skip loader.
Here in the US thats what I know them as. I thought these were "Tool carriers" that you are asking about in this tread, they can do anything a "tractor" can but with a loader also.
one of our dealers had one on the yard a few years ago, guy tried to sell it and couldn't. it got demo'd about three times and the last time it wa returned with the rear grader busted. rocks here eat stuff like corn flakes. limestone, sandstone and some stuff that is terrile to drill and a breaker just dies.
Others call them landscape loaders.
Hardly see those around here. I know of 3 in the area, next town over has a 570M case for the parks, a nurseries couple towns over has a 570L, and a Paver has a 580E with no hoe.
Im trying to build up enough pics of these machine to hopefully convince my managers to get one for a demo. But i dont think it is worth it unless you have a "float" box the red one in the picture. Does anyone know who makes these, and if you have any pics of these please post... thanks
