I have a 1997 330b cat .my opperator complanes its too slow. He also runs a 1995 sk300 and thinks its faster .i dont know what to say to him any ideas.
Rule of thumb with these old machines, if it isn't smoking black it ain't working right.... So, does it smoke when under load?
yes changed all filters hyd fuel
I would tell him to quit complaining, or find a new job.
If you have a 3306 engine with an electric throttle that responds to a tach reading you might need a slight governor tune up. New spring and thrust washer plus adjust speeds then recallibrate governor control. If that's your problem the machine may never reach full fuel, pumps will stroke back as engine loads. Later Bob
