Good Afternoon, I have a Volvo EC55B the Swing and Push Blade Hydraulics are Slow and will not swing uphill at even the slightest angle with a bucket of material. The problem seemed to start after one of our operators had switched the hydraulics from Excavator to backhoe control. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
Good day Mark Both Slew & Blade are powered by a gear pump, the fault sounds like a pump issue I suggest you get the pressure checked at low and high speed.Could be relief valve also. Kind regards Uffex

Good day Mark A gear pump will live a reasonable life at 180 bars you can run gear pumps at 200 bars but the life will not be as long (2500psi = 180 bars 200 = 3000 psi).
