I am in search of a flange to be welded into an exhaust assembly. The particular engine this one is on is a Yanmar rebadged as an Isuzu. It is a 4 bolt square pattern which is probably metric. I am wondering if there is a standard to these things. Here is a picture to illustrate. Just wondering what the name on these things is and where to buy them and the gaskets.
Our local automotive exhaust shop has a cnc plasma, and many files already drawn to burn those out. Any weld shop with same should help you.
Any good weld in pipe bung and some square plate, weld then cut/drill copper anti seize on the threads Gaskets? if its flat enough, you won't need a gasket as the carbon will seal it up. perhaps a bit of copper flashing cut to size.
