Travels OK in low range but hardly moves in high. Seems the issue is growing worse. Have not checked Hydraulic pressure yet but reading thorough old posts, Someone mentioned that the greatest strain on the system is lift of the fully extended boom. Tried that and it almost stalls the Duetz engine at idle so that indicates to my limited knowledge that the hyd pump must be in reasonable condition. (There is a hose and test port close to the engine but i don't have suitable connector or gauge). Comments anyone? I found an original parts manual online. I have extracted the hydraulic schematic. Perhaps someone can walk my through how the drive motors operate and reverse. I'm trained in electrical and have experience with high pressure air and hydraulic systems. TIA
Did you check the limit switches for boom raised and boom extended? If you have a bad connection or a bad switch this could cause your problem.
When the basket is raised or extended the machine moves more slowly. Look for the wiring also in that area
If you don't find the problem post your serial maybe someone has a service manual . Or ask snorkel for a service manual
