Couldn't get a solenoid stem loose in an awkward position with very little room. Needed to use a 12" crescent wrench to fit stem as I didn't have a 1 1/2" combo wrench. Tried hitting with a hammer and using a piece of rectangular tubing for an extension to no avail. Running out of options I wondered if a Bessey style clamp might be useful. Tubing on the wrench, clamp on the tubing and 5' aluminum snipe on the end of the clamp sticking out. Kind of a crude set up but it worked. It was an ORB type fitting and bloody tight. Maybe from hyd. oil heating and cooling it made it so tight?? Just glad I got it loose.
Pretty slick!
