Bought a 78’ Case 580c and need to change seals on two rams on the backhoe. Can someone suggest a good spanner wrench set that would have the sizes I need for this machine. Thank you.
Just use Google a bunch out there.
I've had good luck making them from flat stock and drill blanks. Another trick is to drill hook spanners if you have any of those laying around. Maybe some day I'll buy the right thing.
I've used Allen head cap screws
The one I have I believe is an OTC 1266. It's 3/4 drive, 2-6" cap and has both 1/4 and 5/16 pins. Worked for every cylinder on both my Case 450c and 480e.
