SR200 starting issue

pwg534 ยท 2015-06-27 08:40

I have an sr200 that won't start. Worked fine last friday, rained over weekend, Monday batt was dead, hooked up jumper cables, starter spun over with key out of ign. Changed starter, ign, all fuses and relays, turn key and relays click but nothing to the exciter wire on starter. Anyone have a clue as to my problem? :Banghead

Im assuming its a Case SR200. Any fault codes? They were prone to getting water in the fuse box and melting the fuse box and relays. Was there any damage in the fuse box (look on the backside of the fuse box) There is also ground fuses, at the back left of the machine, and a starter relay there too. Ground fuses are under a sealed cap. Check those first. Under the cab, there is several diodes, in bullet connectors. They get corroded, and can cause issues. There is also a connector under the bellhousing, and sometimes it gets corroded too.
