My case 465 skid steer caught fire in cab and pretty much burnt all the wiring and instraments in cab but no hoses or oils ever caught fire and i dont think any damage machanicaly, motor is not locked up but i wanted to try and start it and wondered what wires if any would have to be hooked up for it to run?
You can bypass the key switch and run a jump box to the starter.. I’m not familiar with that model so idk what kind of shut off system it has.?? If u use to shut it off with the key switch, it means u have an electric solenoid somewhere.. they’re usually mounted to the inj pump.. If u shut it off with a cable, find the shut off lever on the governor (inj pump) Don’t forget the fuel.. did it have an electric supply pump..? You’ll have to run power to it.. AND you’ll have to bleed the air out..loosen the lines at the injectors and spin the engine until fuel squirts out..unless it’s a common rail system.. Good luck
