steam cleaning

any body doing this powerwashing or steam washing heavy equipment anywhere in the world ????????

    Yeah, it's quite common. I have been looking for a steam cleaning unit for a while, just can't find a nice used one that doesn't need work or willing to shell out the $$ to buy a new unit. They work great, the best way to clean equipment.

    been doin for years.found the best set up so far is a 0 degree rotating nozzell (turbo nozzell )mounted on a adjustable angle wand (by twisting handle) works good for getting in compartments get ready to get dirty

    Hotsy brand hot water cleaners are quite commonly owned in the area where I live. Even The high school FFA Dept. owns one. The local Hotsy dealer gets decent used ones in on trade every so often. I have used one and it is very good at cleaning equipment. Here is a link to an old, but interesting thread on The Practical Machinist about steam versus hot water for cleaning equipment.
