steering problem 980g cat loader

we have a 980g 11 loader that kicks transmission into neutral whenever we turn steering shaft ever so much to the right if we put transmission into neutral and shift back into gear it works but as soon as we go to the left and try moving to the right direction it kicks back into neutral ' took apart steering assembly looking for broken wire or bad connection been looking for two days cannot find anything at this time any help to indentify where to look would be helpful we were not sure if there is some kind of oil sensor which reads the turning action which kicks transmission into neutral any one have this issue and how did you fix it or find it
