Hi everybody! Anyone ever mess around with the forward control valve in a Deere 310d reverser? Couple weeks ago the thing got low on power and started shifting slow into forward. My mechanic pulled out the control valve, cleaned and sanded it an put it back in. Fixed it but he said it's scratched and old and will happen again. (Is a dirty sticky control valve a cause or a symptom?) It's happening again. I don't want to bother the mechanic again, does anybody know if this is this easy to do myself? Just unbolt that little plate with the three Allen heads and take it from there? Anyone ever heard of "calibrating" the thing? (Bending the spring or shimming it or something) Thanks! Sebastian
