I have a kamatsu D31 ex-21 that won't start. My father changed the batteries and hooked them up wrong. After hooking them up properly, it will turn over but won't start. Found that every time we turn it over the stop solenoid fuse blows. Any ideas?
Disconnect the stop solenoid and see if it will crank, is the stop solenoid fuse blown or still in tact. If gone your stop solenoid is probably shorting out. Start with this. Do you have a current electrical schematic. Simon C
