I have a older 185 DPQ 2W JD that has snapped the input shaft on the male router of the airend. It appears the coupling let lose and caused the shaft to snap. I have a lead on some other airends but i am not sure if they would cross and work. They are all from other 185 units but have different part numbers. I have a 251260-001 and have leads on a 02250191-933 and 02250138-105 Is there any way to see if those would work?
No idea on Sullair compressors but I have I-R and they support rebuilt air ends very well. There are also vendors on ebay advertising their rebuilding services for air ends of all common brands. I know those rotors are matched and machined to very close tolerances for fitment so don't know if a single unit could be replaced or not.
