Can anyone help me locate an "end bit" for a Super Clark 290M (see photos)
http://www.clark290m.com/ Try them for parts, they specialize in 290 M.
Thank you oldseabee for the information. I contacted them and they did not have anything available at this time. Do you have any other thoughts of who might be able to help me out?
First, Never heard of a Super Clark 290M, possibly a modified military surplus. Clark didn't usually make cutting edges, they bought after market and designed the blade around them, I would take your end bit to one of the attachment companies like Esco and try to match it up with something they may have on the shelf or a large dozer company like Cat or Dresser. The 290 M was basically a 280B Clark dozer. Check with www.minnpar.com they handle Clark parts and the end bit might be the same as the civilian version. The Clark end bits for the "U" blade are as follows: Left PN 560270 Right PN 560269.
First try what oldseabee said, and if that doesnt work find a cat or other machine that has parts availability and is a close fit, then weld your holes closed and drill the blade to fit the new edges.
