Hi All; My problem child is a 1961 Oliver White 1600 diesel back hoe. The swing cylinder is an old Cessna rotary cylinder that is functionin as a great strainer for my hydraulic system. Anyone know of a service manual for said beast? Is it possible to pull the cylinder without removing the entire hoe? Thanks, have a great day!
Welcome to HEF, Pat ! There have been some detailed discussions on HEF about Cessna rotary cylinders. You can find them by doing a forum search. There are ways to get rid of the rotary cylinder and convert it to a conventional 2 cylinder swing. There are also some videos on utube.
