Code comes up saying Hydraulic charge pressure low and machine want move Pressure is 150psi. Does the pump need replaced and if so how much would it cost to have it done. Thanks for your help.
Welcome to HEF Rguyer ! …… have you checked the 2 hyd filters ??? …… Is the pump drive belt still in tact ??? …… I'm gathering the type-o "want" is for won't rather than as in wants to move ??? ….. give the year and hrs of the machine and the error code number(s) …. might give us a better clue If it's what I experienced on my A-300 …. the pump drive belt broke and gave the codes you speak of …. NOT a big deal at all !!! ……. Cheers
I'm going to look at the loader this weekend. Don't think it is the drive belt because it has 300 psi when first started and after about 5 mins. the pressure drops to 150 and the loader want move. The year is 2005 S.N. 525413013 has 3000 hours.
Unless Your machine was so terribly neglected of maintenance, 3000 hrs is nothing for the pump(s) life expectancy …… Did this problem come on quick ??? or did this progressively begin ??? Check the BELT anyways ! …. make sure it's complete and not missing cogs, or partial sections ….. make sure the tensioner is functional, I know it's a bit of a task to get a total view, (having to pull the battery out and the rear cover clips) BUT at least you'll be sure ….. and have the Hyd filters been done regularly ….. IF in doubt change them anyways …… Let us know how you make out ! …. cheers
