Hi all, Lost all tilt on the bucked and got the dreaded actuator code today, swapped plugs and it changed to 32-36 so looks like it needs to be replaced. I was told if software was over 54 (mines 74) then I wouldn’t need calibration. Any info on this? Also is the lift actuator on the top or bottom? Appreciate the help!
The tilt actuator should be on the top. At least it is on my machine. Not sure about the calibration. My G series machine doesn't require a software calibration. There is also a manual calibration that you could try if you can find the method. It usually involves holding both handles into the middle and then powering on the machine. You will hear the actuators start cycling if it is going to work. At that point you can release the handles and let it continue. I have also read where it might throw a code as it completes. Just power down and back up and see if it is working. Swapping out the actuator is not that hard of a job. It's fairly easy to get to the top one.
actuators do need calibration. they may or may not work. if they do work, they typically have a short life span. somewhere around V63 software the manual calibration no longer works. lift is on the bottom, tilt is above it.
