Platform will not level down, ground and platform controls are affected. Level up is OK.. Have 12V to down solenoid coil plug and good ground.. I can take up wire plug and put to down coil and it works.. Both coils are good. This is a engine machine.. Any ideas welcome
What happens if you swap the down connector to the up coil? A lot of times there is a diode in the connectors for the coils especially the square ones. If that went bad in the down one the voltage could be bypassing the coil. Also try load testing the power wire for the down coil, just cause you see 12v with a multimeter doesn’t mean the wire can handle any amperage. An easy way to load test is wire up a car headlamp bulb so the voltage flows through both the high and low beam, connnect that to ground and use the wire you ant to test for the voltage, if the wiring is good it’ll light them.
I have swaped connectors and the down will not work on either coil.. The up connector will work on either coil.. I applied voltage direct from battery to down coil and operated switches as if connector was connected still nothing. A real head scratchier. Thanks for answer
