My new to me Takeuchi excavator 260 has a dozer blade function issue. Regularly when moving and normal use the dozer blade randomly drops completely to the grade. Pulling back on the joystick it simply drops back down when I release the stick. It’s not all the time, just when you don’t want it to. observations: fluid levels are good no leaks anywhere on the machine unit does not have an enclosed cab joy stick functions without issues. Any assistance would be appreciate.
Sounds like you could have a leak in your swivel joint. Checkout farmcraft on YouTube, he explains a similar situation
It also sounds like you could be inadvertently hitting the float button. Next time it happens look at the monitor to see if the blade “float” icon is showing.
