Takeuchi TB 175

Our Takeuchi TB 175 shuts down quite often for no apparent reason. If you let it sit for a few minutes it usually starts back up. Have had trouble with the low coolant sensor shutting the machine down/not letting it start in the past. This sensor is disconnected now. It does not seem to matter if the machine is working hard or at idle, it stops like turning the key off. No bogging down or anything like that. Have replaced both fuel filters. Any help would be appreciated.

Look at your fuel stop solenoid .you could be loosing a power lead or ground .Pull out solenoid with wires hooked up.Put a ground wire from solenoid body to ground .watch to see if plunger pulls in than when running pops out .with engine running .

The last one I worked on had a similar problem.. the fuse/relay block was behind the steel panel at your knees while in the seat. It ended up being a bad connection at the panel.. corrosion.. I found the info online..
