Gentlemen. Ladies. serial: 17513357 So this piece is an hour away and wanted some feedback before running out there. Long story short. Operator started the unit this morning with no issue, About a half hour in it bogs and dies. Cannot get it to restart even on ether. Wont even act like it wants to start. But it is smoking like a freight train, indicating that it is in fact getting fuel. Air restriction maybe? But why would it run so long, seemingly well. When it is running, it runs fine, No issues. Recently this machine went down. Discovered the fuel shut off solenoid was bad so i replaced it and changed the fuel filters. Machine doesnt have 2 hours on it since that. I suspected at the time the fuel pump but that is still operating. Albeit kinda noisy. But it is working. And also like a said. Plenty of smoke. Bad injector spray? Proper compression should fire ether regardless which is what has me stumped... Just called back, got it started. Thing is as moody and unpredictable as a hungry pregnant woman...
