Hi I'm looking to purchase a larger 8 tonne excavators .( I currently run a bobcat 425) as I get a lot of enquiry for larger jobs. I've price here in Australia the cat, tack and kubota machines and they are all about the same price. Has anyone run these machines I would like to hear your opinions
I have some smaller machines, but here is my two cents on the subject. The Tak is a really powerful machine, but if you buy an older one you might be **** out of luck down the road as their parts support after ten years is pretty thin. The Kubotas have full support, but during operation, they just don't seem to be as strong pound for pound as the Tak. The only cat I've run was a huge monster, and I really can't compare the three.
