Hi, I was wondering on a TB125 is there any way to disable the tracks to winch it on a trailer besides pulling the final drives?
If you can remove the gearbox cover plates then you can remove the center sun gear from the gearbox and the travel motors will free wheel. The problem is that the cover plates are usually retained by a thick metal wire that must be feed out through a threaded plug hole in the side of the gearbox housing, not an easy process but can be done. The alternative to this is to remove the head covers of both hydraulic motors in order to release the applied spring tension to the negative brake piston set up. This may be a better option but is still time consuming and you then expose the hydraulic motor components/housing to dust and other contaminants in the atmosphere. Best regards
