Hello! We've got an older Takeuchi TB135 that runs great. The only problem began when we took off the original tracks last year, they were worn and it was time. We installed ALL NEW rollers, sprockets and tracks. The new aftermarket tracks were quiet for the first 20 minutes or so- but then, especially when turning left- the tooth holes on the track POP really loud on the sprocket, almost like it's misaligned. Everything runs smooth and straight and it is tensioned properly. This was the reason we changed the rollers- we thought the sound was because the old rollers were not "collecting" or "centering" the track on to the sprocket. The new rollers made no change to this condition. A Takeuchi service tech came out and after many hours, said "It must be these aftermarket tracks and you'll need to buy factory ones- that might help ". They left, never called back and didn't charge us. Zero money- but zero help in fixing it. I'm now in charge of solving this issue and my hope is that someone here can offer some useful information on this TB135 noise. Am I missing something in the way the track centers on the sprocket? Our grease tensioner seems to be functioning fine. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Good day Grenade The issue could well be related to the pitch of the chain matching the sprocket, you can establish pitch of the chain by measuring pin to pin on one link, then compare to the sprocket tips see if they match. Come back if this is not the answer, hope it is of help. Kind regards Uffex
I will most certainly measure the spacing of the teeth & tread and report back. Thanks
On every rubber track that I have in service, the dimensions are molded in. They should match the circled below 350x52.5x86
This is the track number we have on this machine : 350x52. 5x86
