   Nice machine, especially because it has a thumb which you don't see on that size machine. Call any Takeuchi Dealer and ask the parts Department.

   Typically, the engine EPA tag will list a year on it. On Yanmar engines, it's on the valve cover.

   Are you looking at it to purchase? If so that number spray painted on the side probably means it was a rental machine maybe United or Hertz.

   My Takeuchi TB 016 is dated 2003 and the serial number is 11605458

   Yes it was a rental. I already own it but my insurance company is asking what year it is.
