My recently purchased TCM forklift manual steering box ball worm gear has been destroyed (worm shaft bent and bearing race on the shaft has been mutilated beyond repair). 1. Where can I find a replacement (complete box and steering shaft) ? 2. Has has anyone ever converted a forklift to power steering using a light truck steering box ?
Atlanta Lift http://www.atlantaliftruck.com shows one in their yard. Give them a call with your model and serial number along with everything you need. The more info that you have will make it easier for them.
